“I started using Peptan as a nutritional supplement back in May, during a period of intensive training and racing. Gradually, I began to experience the benefits. Around June I noticed a relatively fresh feeling and my sprinting abilities had improved. That clearly contributed to my good performance during the Danish and Dutch national championships. I’m looking forward to seeing where Peptan will take us throughout the rest of the season!”

About Alecto Cycling Team

Alecto Cycling Team is a Netherlands-based, semi-professional bicycle racing team. The team was founded in 2010 and has since been selected to participate in the Continental Circuits races organized by the governing body of international cycling, Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). In 2015 and 2017 the Alecto Cycling Team, which today consists of 11 cyclists aged 19 to 31 years old, won the Dutch Topcompetitie league.

Peptan sponsored and joined the team at various racing events throughout 2018. Our goal as sponsor is to raise awareness of the importance of healthy nutrition for cyclists, and also of the role collagen peptides can play in supporting connective tissues and helping to reduce the risk of injuries.

Collagen peptides deliver numerous health and nutritional benefits to athletes both during and after exercise. It helps in accelerating recovery, restoring protein content of muscles, aiding muscular contraction, providing energy for performance, supporting connective tissues, preventing injuries and weight management with sports nutrition.
